Speaking of non-artistic endeavors, and self promotion...

Are you bored at work? Tired of clicking the minimize button whenever you think the boss is walking by? Well, minimize no more!

We here at unitedHeroes.net [unitedheroes.net] offer a wide variety.. (ok, five) stories presented in rich, luxurious ASCII. Yes, now you can blow valuable company time and appear to be doing something more productive than you really are. Tell your boss you're reviewing vital corporate documents while you immerse yourself in the tales of the world's only crime fighting physicists, Hydrogen Guy and Deuterium Boy [unitedheroes.net].

When unexpected nosy coworkers approach nod knowingly at the page containing the thrilling yet oddly disturbing tales of Christopher Ford, Amature Paranormalist [unitedheroes.net] and claim that it's a paper you're reading from Stanford.

Click now! Your slacking Nirvana awaits you.

or not.

Some friends of mine are putting Clue (the movie) on stage (Off-Broadway), and have chosen/allowed me to be the set designer. As part of the production, I'm now morally obliged to grovel at friends and complete strangers to get them to come to the show.

So, for the New Yorkers (and those who can get here easily), here's your chance to see your favorite movie based on a board game, live on stage, and complete with all three endings. You can check the schedule, see the fancy promotional postcard, and purchase tickets if you are so inclined, at Theater Mania [theatermania.com].

If you have questions not answered at the link, please feel free to email me directly at goats@zeroes.com [mailto]. I sincerely hope some of you can come and enjoy the show.

TC Mangan

P.S. Here's the official blurb from our marketing dweebs:
Nine Rooms. Six Guests. Five Murders. One Boddy.

Flying Blind Productions, in association with the Dysfunctional Theater Company presents its debut stage production, Clue.

The year is 1954. Six strangers -- with nothing in common but their political influence, their curious aliases, and their burden of blackmail -- meet for the first time at a dinner party in a remote New England mansion. There, they find themselves hosted by a mysterious butler, beguiled by an alluring maid, and confronted by their tormentor, the nefarious Mr. Boddy. The intrigue deepens, though, when Mr. Boddy is mysteriously killed by an unseen agent. As the corpses start to pile up, and the guests' dirty secrets are revealed, everyone becomes a suspect, each with the motive, the weapons, and the opportunity to kill...

Beloved by millions as the thrilling board game, and immortalized as the hysterical motion picture, this October, Clue arrives on the Off-Broadway stage -- complete with three hilarious alternate endings.
