In case any new member has insufficient karma to start their own thread in the Blatant Self-Promotion area, go ahead and use this one as you please.
Webcomic artists, feel free to discuss your plug here, and stuff Webcomic-related issues.

"Your artist, wad this blow in discussions"? "Webcomic-related issues, feel free to stuff Webcomic plugs and discuss your artist here"?

Sometimes, if nobody forces me to define things as variables, constants, procedures, or functions beforehand, then i feel free to trifle with semiotics. But it has been eighteen years since i've declared a var or ended a line of code with a semi-colon; whereas the plugging, stuffing, blowing, wadding, and discussion thereof is all familiar territory in which i'm more conversant of late.

I imagine none of this is very Webcomic-related, but we all have issues even though we may not all be considered "artists" in any conventional sense.

In Response to cameronjdavis (#31625):

Some of your jokes were hilarious-- my best friend and i had a lot of laughs this morning as we read your entire archive. I guess it was really easy for us to relate to some of the commentary about apathy, indifference, being a hermit, and having a bit of cynical perspective. I love the way you managed to squeeze some very solid jokes into a few extremely concise sentences.

I personally can not draw-- i could barely manage to play a game of "Hangman". So it doesn't really seem like i'm qualified to say much about your visual artistic style, but my opinion is that it's very minimalist, à la Dilbert. [And i loved your joke about minimalism.]

Your website is very simple and straightforward, and i totally love that. It makes me feel interested in visiting again each week, because it's not loaded with crappy proprietary widgemathingies or flashy geegaws. But one thing that was sort of confusing was the Archive navigation. It's great that you have the entire archive immediately available with simple 'Previous', 'Next', 'First' and 'Last' links. But they don't apply to chronological order-- they work in alphabetical order, which was slightly disconcerting at first, and perhaps not as helpful as one might have expected.

I'm going to show some of my favorite strips in your archives to a few of my friends. If you were to redesign the 'Next'/'Previous' controls, i'd probably just tell them to start at the beginning and read the entire body of work. It was fun to see what you've created, and i will be interested in visiting again as you update with new comics.

Thank you for sharing and promoting it here. I think it's funny, but i'm biased (in favor of the whole pro-apathy stance).

I like Dilbert, but I found your humour missed the mark. The punch lines weren't there for me. If you really want to produce Dibertesque jokes try reading some of the books, Adams is very forthcoming with advice on what works for him.

Hey Team,

Well, I am here regarding wad related situations, as seems to be the current theme. I am new to this world of forums, and like most things, I am still trying to figure it all out.

Anyhow, my shameless self-plug is for “The Mulberry Gallows Project” The Mulberry Gallows Project [mulberrygallows.com] At the beginning of last year I stumbled across “Goats” and became somewhat enchanted with this bizarre world of webcomics. Consequently, I decided to start my own strip and after hacking away at it on and off for a year, I decided to put it online. Reviews for my mom have been extraordinarily high, but I am hoping on generating some more valid input for you gracious characters. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks very much!

Your comic, is uh.. not my cup of tea. I think because it sorta reminds me of a more sane version of the early megaGAMERZ 31337 comics from back in the day. With plot.
