We're going to be putting together a new full-color glossy flyer for our upcoming convention appearances. The old flyer has strip samples on it, so people can read the strip right then and there, and hopefully we catch their attention and make them want more.
I need to select new strips for use on the new flyer. Ideally, the strips should be from the last couple of years (the art needs to be somewhat good, because many people won't give crappy art a second look), and the strips should be one-off jokes that stick in your mind without needing to know much (if any) of the background of the characters.
Which strips would you show your friends to get them hooked if you could only pick one or two strips?
