A while ago the "lastfive" link was removed from the links under the current strip and is only found under the "archive" link. Why did this happen? I miss having obvious access to the last five strips after I've been away from goats.com for a week or so.

It was removed to make room for the infintely more useful "discuss" button. I figured that since the lastfive option was available under the main nav, there was no need to have it under the strip. I think the "discuss" button makes more sense in the context of the strip-based nav.

Is it really that difficult to get to the lastfive submenu item?

i dont think you should doubt the intellects of jon and phillip, they know more from their drunkardness than all men combined(althoguht they might not remember any, if not all, of the secrets).
so i will face the rath of redundancy and say if you dont beleive there was a perfect reason for it, fall into a fridge of pudding...
