Space Rabbits...
posted Thursday, December 28, 2006 - 12:30 PM (#37025)

Okay, maybe it's just me, but I've got a small collection of deadly rabbit things....

Alright, fine. I've got two. A plush Bun-Bun, and a plush Holy Grail Killer Rabbit.

And when the Space Rabbit popped up, my little mind spun wheels..

We need Plush Space Rabbits like Mars Needs Women!

POLL: C'mon, who's with me? uh... anyone for a plush space rabbit?

38% (7) Hells Yes!

16% (3) Plushies are for losers like me.

44% (8) No, but maybe a broccoli... mmm.. broccoli.
18 people have voted in this poll. (This poll is not active.)

Heh! Touche. What is needed is a pity meme for "infrequent poster to the forums who probably realizes that the salami jokes are becoming tiresome".

In any case, I think the strip does work better with rabbits than dingoes [fleen.com], although I wouldn't have objected to the latter, whether Kellett [sheldoncomics.com] thought of it first or not [boblayton.com].

That, of course, should have been "pithy", but I'm starting to think it works the way it is.

-1 for making any negative comment against a less experienced user into a hate crime instead of a correction

I call bullshit on that one. I would have made that comment irregardless of who posted it. Saying the salami option is tired is also irrelevant. It is simply a "none of the above" option that is in almost every popular forum in use. By making it an inane option, it adds personality that is particular to the specific site.

As to the aspect of it being related to the site. Well, no shit. It was posted in the Pub. Now, if you are upset about not many posts about the comic in the Ring of Fire, that's the forum for non-Goats posts to be.

I never made any comment about intelligence of the OP or anything else. I simply commented that there was no option for me to mark down "I don't care" and put some life into the poll. Brocolli doesn't count because it is not a none of the above option. He could have made it anything other than salami too. Just as long as it demonstrates the N/A aspect of a last option.
