Last night on the Colbert Report the was a mention of Lord Voldemort in relation to the Republican party and the upcoming elections and I was wondering if there was any connection to the famous Goats T-shirts or if it was accidental. Or maybe a sort of intrinsic link between the two notions that was bound to come up sooner or later someplace else anyway. Any ideas? Anybody saw it?
I didn't see it, but it's hard to tell with these sorts of things. For instance, is this T-shirt [cafepress.com] influenced by Jon's idea, or did someone make the mental connection independently?
The answer, of course, is yes.

No, that shirt is obviously a rip-off, not part of the great interconnectedness of the greats.

I've received a lot of questions regarding availability of the shirt from both Harry Potter fans and Republican foes.
It's a pretty popular idea that is deffinitely spreading (remember the photos of Moby sporting Jon's T). Credit Jon for making the connection!
But do you ever see a person leave a cathedral toting a to-go box?
Coffins don't count.
I did actually leave some bumper stickers for him when I went to see a Daily Show taping (not knowing his t-shirt size).

Is there a clip of this anywhere? I must have missed that Report. Three of my favourite things in life are Goats, Harry Potter and Stephen Colbert, and seeing them all come together in any context makes me feel warm inside.
Anyhow, I looked over in Youtube, but had no luck. I'll look more later on, but the lazy part of me wishes someone would just provide a convenient link.

Hell, let's face it, we're not responsible for anything; including the things we say, do, or think. And if you sue us because you think we are? Well, we're not responsible for that either.
