Dimensional Ruptures!

I also have to ask if this was in anyway partially inspired by Farscape, what with the creating and manipulating dimensional ruptures and all.

I just finished watching The Peacekeeper Wars last night, so it was on my mind.

That and every other science fiction tv show and movie having to do with wormholes, interdimensional travel, etc.

I'm drawing on pretty much everything I've ever seen, heard or read for this story.

My favorite detail in today's strip [goats.com] is the yellow post-it note on the surveillance report. That speaks volumes, that does, about their society.

I ruptured the membranes. Then a baby dimension fell out. Sadly it was dead upon delivery.

Oh, the miracle of life.

I just loved the way they're willing to make things fit the profecy -"there are ways to die chocking on trail mix that are involuntary" :)

snipergirl - my condolences for the still born baby dimension.

Dang it, my comment abovve was not redundant. It may not have added anything of value to the conversation, but redundant? No way.

If I'm going to get downmodded, I want to be downmodded accurately.

modding tends to be a bit useless so you're best off just ignoring it. base your posting analysis off of actual feedback rather than illegitimately empowered bitter people armed with a pulldown menu.

Also important to remember that if one has posted in a particular thread, then one can't modeerate any posts within that same thread. So if you get downmodded, it's not anyone with whom you've been carrying on the conversation.

i'd definitely say not to let it put you off posting.

Well, sort of.

Getting a downmod that isn't just 'troll' or 'flamebait' over and over is a sign of acceptance. If you see those two repeatedly, you may want to consider changing your posting style.

Or not, as the case [goats.com] may [goats.com] be [goats.com].

Except that a downmod doesn't really help my karma which is the only thing that will get me out of this noob level (not that I care).
