The seasonal alcoholic

So, it's turning winter here in The Land Of The Free-if-you-are-a-republican.

That means that tequila is illmannered, and bourbon is the new scotch!

What are you drinking in this changing time of weather? Are you switching from hefes to Octoberfests? Are you eagerly anticipating Christmas beers?

Or are you easing into summer, and starting to anticipate long slow margharita afternoons?

I don't understand.

Is there something other than beer from which to get drunk?

Winter is the best time for hot drinks like Irish Coffee or cocoa with peppermint schnapps. Or you could also go for the traditional egg nog-induced Christmas bender.

Funny enough, my last beer purchase was a Saranac Octoberfest; as opposed to my usual Paulaner or Weinstephan to suppliment my Beam consumption.

I'm eagerly awaiting Harpoon Winter Warmer; and maybe will pick up a few nice scotches as a treat for having to deal with all the upcoming obligations.

1 gal apple juice
2 oranges
2 lemons
1 lime
1 tbsp cloves
1 tbsp allspice
2 cinnamon sticks
1 qt water
1 cup sugar

Method
1. Heat the water to boiling. Cut the lemons and oranges (and lime if using) in half and squeeze the juice into a separate bowl to save, throw the skins and pulp into the boiling water. Add spices and simmer for one hour.

2. Remove the cinnamon sticks, a few cloves, allspice and save to one side. Using a slotted spoon or strainer remove the citrus peels and pulp and the remaining spices. Return the cinnamon sticks and saved spices to the water. Add the apple juice or cider and return to heat.

3. When boiling remove from heat and add the citrus juice and sugar. Simmer very lightly for another 10 minutes and serve. Delicious!

Then I add one of the following:

Vodka
Burbon

Drink to excess.

....

I once had a box, when I was in college, that I had legitimately acquired from the commisary.

It had previously held large containers of apple juice, for industrial uses.

The side of it had lettering that said, exactly and explicitly,

"2 Jugs, 1 Gal.".

I was ... amused.

As a college student--the winter season calls for the same drinks that all other seasons call for: whatever is cheapest. This winter I'll be drinking: PBR, HRD, Mad Dog, and Wine that comes in a bladder.

Even though I'm a college student, what I like to do is spend less money on calories from food, and more money on calories from alcohol. More expensive, higher quality alcohol cuts down on the vomiting anyways.

That being said, I still can't wait for Sam Adams to come out with it's Winter Lager. I'm not much of a beer fan (I drink like a girl), and Sam Adams' Winter Lager is one of my favourites. Reading the part of the label of an Octoberfest that talked about it made me giggle.

It would only be impressive if you could do it for arbitrary specific breasts, rather than just Nic's breasts.

Also, you failed to produce an image that was identifiably Nic, so other than the URL we have only your word that those are hers... (well, some of us have personal experience to measure against, but that's irrelevant).

All you've really proved is that you know how to trawl her website looking for photos of breasts, and can remember the URL.

Like she's some kind of all-time notorious town-bike style harlot or some such.

I'm in total agreement.
