Austin demands Voldemort.

I've gone years without seeing any of the RfV paraphernalia in the wild, and now after being in Austin, TX for a scant 10 days or so I've seen 3 seperate vehicles sponsoring bumper stickers for the Dark Lord in 2008.

This shouldn't be stunning, though. This town's number of politically charged bumper stickers are impressive. You can't find standing traffic that doesn't have a handful of the little red-slashed-circle W stickers, or the much less tasteful "entire back of car with liberal slogan montage".

In contrast, and I've been keeping track, there's been so far two vehicles sporting GOP slogans.

This town ain't blue, folks. It's ultraviolet.

And didn't the Dark Lord work in Austin before the Supreme Court gave him his new job in 2000?

Did you count the one you gave me for my birthday? Cause it's on my car now. :)

I'll drive you out to the burbs one of these days so you can see where the blue ends and the red starts. Stupid rich people.

No, because I have not yet seen it.

Well, on your car, that is. I've seen it in your hands and in my pack.

I had a recent RfV bumper sticker sighting as well, in Ann Arbor, MI. (Moved here a month ago, saw the bumper sticker about a week or so ago.) That brings my grand total up to two!

The only one I've seen is on my truck. And my truck is not in Austin, which is probably why.

I love it when people come up to me and say "Did you see that truck? Somebody's got a bumper sticker that says 'Republicans for Voldemort'. That's so awesome!" It happens more than you'd think.
