Q: Shut up! So, can you tell us a bit about yourselves? What have you been up to lately?

Shouldn't this be in Dynedain's Star Trek thread?

I'm wondering if Neil and Bob would want to loosen the ropes.

They're not tied up by ropes, they are tied up by duct tape and they even mention that they aren't tied tight enough.

Clan_Hanna started the thread, Dynedain merely pointed out the actual meaning of the "Q" in question... well, not the "q" in "question", but rather the "Q"... um... jemimahniddlies! It's hard not to be ambiguous around here!

I've changed. I used to feel like i couldn't choose favorites. No matter how much i loved any particular book, film, album, cookie, buttplug, painting, character, or whatever, i just could not convince myself that i could honestly confidently select anything and claim that it was the "best". But Jon started to change that part of my character a couple years ago when i discovered Goats.com, as it seemed like i was finally sure of a favorite. I knew which comic i loved the most.

Now today, i am quite certain of which two fictional characters are my absolute favorites of all time. I no longer wonder-- i am totally convinced. This is a new me, a person who can finally feel assured about some superlatives. Clever, humorous, sarcastic Jon (and Neil and Bob) influenced me.

Not that there's anything wrong with being uncertain or wishy-washy or flip-floppy about issues with depth; it's just nice to feel like i can make my mind up about something once in a while, something that makes people laugh.

Bob is my favorite, not because he's the one with the hairy nipples [goats.com], but rather for his exuberant vim.

However, as i mentioned, i reserve the right to flip-flop in case of depth.

Zang! Zang indeed. And for some reason I'm reminded of a joke my sister told me the other day.

So the first girl asks he mother, "mommy, how did I get my name?" and her mother says, "well, when you were born a rose petal fell on your head so we named you Rose."
The second girl asks, "mommy, how did I get MY name?" and her mother says, "well, when YOU were born a daisy fell on your head so we named you Daisy."
The third girl goes, "Aaurnmgghuhguhnn?" and the mother says, "Shut up, Cinderblock!"
