Would any of you guys be interested in a Moustache Fighting or Moustache Fighting League t-shirt?

I always thought the first rule [pimpz.org] of the Moustache fight club was that you didn't talk about Moustache fight club.

I think the shirts could work, but it really depends on how the joke develops. As I've been reading it, it struck me as some sort of thinly veiled reference to a guy on guy makeout session. Not that there is anything wrong with that that [seinfeld-fan.net]. I might just be reading it wrong, but if that is the entire joke (which it might be), it's funny, but I think there are alot of other shirt possibilities [goats.com]that work on more levels. I mean, what is a Moustache fight?

Also, we do already have merchandise [goats.com] from another league [goats.com]. Not that it rules out another Goats based league, just something to consider

Jon wanted ideas for monthly shirt output [goats.com].

I'd wear one, depending on the design. Just draw up some freedom fighter, Sandinista type heads with the slogan "I'm a member of the Moustache Fighting League!" in the MASH (tv show) font on an olive green shirt.

Now if I could only draw...

I have the design as of today; hopefully I'll have it up for purchase by next week.

There was some brainstorming at the pub on thursday night which cinched it.

Can't wait to see the shirt design.

And may I offer my compliments to you, Jon: your characters are hidden in parrot suits, behind moustaches, and essentially robbed of all large visual cues, yet they are still easily identifiable. That takes some talent.

Of course, the fact that Phillip has a freakishly large and squarish head helps.

I still think Jon came up with the shirt idea first, then wrote the strip to have a excuse to make and sell the shirts.

The PMR shirt, yes -- that was pretty much the point of PMR. This one, no. The MFL shirt was conceived on Thursday the 24th at the pub. The MFL concept originated exactly one week earlier at the same location.

Bob is more easily distinguished by his pipe, and the fact that he is always smiling (whereas Phillip, as we all know, is surly ... sullen, even). All hail the Living Slackmaster [subgenius.com].

That was a particularly inventive night at the pub, as Suppository Pocky and Names As Killing Words were also on the beer-fueled list of discussion topics.
