Fish Emulator

So, these files that are zipped up, are they executable on an average computer? Is it possible to download and execute them in some way?

Because it'd be so much more fun having my pc act like a fish instead of the way it's currently acting.

You are so right here.

I've done a bit of research for you, but all I can find so far on "compressed fish" uses very unsound fuzzy compression techniques. They can compress fish, but no one has bothered to work out the decompression. I don't call that very professional!

As for fish emulators, forget it! None of them even bother to include a beer glass! I ask you, how can these people think they've emulated fish without the glass?

The emulator doesn't need to have anything to do with a beer glass. All it needs to do is interpret the compressed fish files (which, if anything contain the beer glass code, however would most likely only contain code for a fishbowl with water and gravel. and that he likes gravel.) as well as the possible ability to interpret Mendels replacement files (if, of course, the underlying hardware has the processing power).

Hogging all the lime light. I mean, sure, you have glowing goose [buyangel.co.kr] and USB devises [computers4sure.com] that call themselves goose-related, but no combination? I mean, honestly, its just another way society oppresses geese [peta.org]. Anti-Goose hate-mongers.

Okay, I've got the basic file format [vidarholen.net]. There appears to be a lot missing from the specification though. The way fish moves is covered, but there is nothing covering existential angst. The next phase is to sort out the environment. Where should fish be? I think that with a generic environment, fish could be in a beer glass (with or without gravel), a river or even Reese’s apartment.
Do you think Philip will let us know if the character of fish is an extension of the format or a separate format altogether? I think I should be able to get a beta ready around Q3 of hell freezing over.

Looks like someone has been hitting the Goose [greygoosevodka.com] a little early this morning.

Also, in responce to the post on the proper file format. El Fish was a great program, but I'm not sure that it would be quite the right one for coding an emulator. I mean, those fish would breed with one another, not lust after Reese Witherspoon [goats.com]. And I'm pretty sure they don't have hilarious dialog [goats.com].

No funny dialog? I've already got this from Fish:the emulator...

<emulator>
Fish (Strapped to table): Pardon me, lady! I don't go I'll give you know how to tell how are you to rumble with them stop putting sadness lions in my venture with a xdoodyheadx poophead! He also has stinky feet. That is someone here, Lady.

Fish: I would like not being a fish." This epithet shows... uh. Something. Yes. Maybe. Is it because I am still hold a castle with a father?

Fish (voice only): Down here, please send me with the way to go I'll give you kisses?

Fish (translated from hebrew): Blessed art thou Lord, our God, King of all sorts of DIABLO THE CHICKEN.

Fish (In beer glass): Just thinking about ponies!
