I'm afraid that i must take a medical leave of absence from my leadership of the International League of Pedants [goats.com]. On December 8th, i underwent major brain surgery to remove what is believed to be the largest cyst ever found on a brain stem. A few details are in my Livejournal [livejournal.com]. I have plenty of fascinating stories (at least to me) to tell, but i still can't use the computer long enough to tell them.

Nevertheless, i am sanguine in my outlook not only for myself, but for the ILoP during my convalescence.
