Fast Original Artwork Purchase.
posted Wednesday, October 20, 2004 - 05:38 PM (#21301)
I was just about tempted to buy the original artwork for today's strip (10/20/04), against my wife's advice probably, and then I noticed someone beat me to it.

Are duels still legal? If so, may I challenge the purchaser to a duel? Is that a good reason for a duel?

Thanks!

Dueling became illegal long before it became unpopular. I wonder, though, whether dead persons can refuse to press murder charges (in writing in advance, of course). If so, we can bring back the trend!

As for whether it's a good reason... hell, if it's not, just find out who the purchaser is and pretend that he called you an alcoholic. He probably did, anyway.

I dunno.

He seems a little ... smart ... to be admitted to Cornell.

The fact that I've met you and Jon is why I made that argument.

If they let you two in (much less GRADUATE), they can't have any standards at all.

Have you no sense of decency
Well... that's debatable... but I didn't need to get bailed out [goats.com], so at least it seems I have a certain amount of public decency.
