the move to Goats premium

Excellent. I was somewhere between too cheap and too lazy to sign on to MT just for the one comic, and now I find said comic rolled into a subscription I already pay.

I just reread the archive, and clearly I missed quite a bit the first time through. I guess that's bound to happen when updates are per week or two and you can't backtrack.

Now that I can see all the connections and appreciate the thing properly, I think maybe it would've been worth the MT subscription. Which, I suppose, means in the long run I got by with one here...

I agree, I was always interested in it, but MT seemed a bit high-priced for my taste. And plus I couldn't get into any of the other comics there. I usually need to read about 10 strips of a comic to really get into the groove, and they didn't really allow for that there.

What's the deal with MT? Are they starting to wither a bit? I'm pretty sure Scott Kurtz's Real-Life Tales or whatever it's called is gone from there too.

That said, I just read through the archives, and I really enjoyed what was there. It's got a very interesting storyline in it.

In Response to FeldmanSkitzoid (#4679):

i read MT daily. there are a number of comics there that i absolutely love, such as narbonic, outside the box, odd jobs, sketchbook, vicious souvenirs, charlie red-eye(which just started a few weeks ago and is awesome)..
30 bucks for a year seems pretty insignificant to me for all these great comics.
