The contract between us and Modern Tales for Patent Pending is up on August 1; MT's original contracts went for 6 months, but even though PP started late; all the contracts were timed to end at the same time.
PP will continue After August 1 (I don't plan on stopping until it's finished) on MT, but at a reduced schedule. I'll be putting up one new strip every two weeks, instead of every week.
PP turned out to be a lot more complex than I had ever imagined; it takes me about twice as long to do one PP strip as it takes to do 3 Goats strips. I'm pleased with the end-product, though, and I don't want to compromise the quality. So, due to time constraints (read: day job), something has to give -- my schedule has been unbearably hectic since I started PP.
I hope you understand. My long-term goal is to be drawing for 8 hours a day, but that may be a bit of a ways off.
