Woody's Roundup

A few things:
  1. The MoCCA Art Festival is this weekend, on Sunday, here in the good ol' City of New York, Manhattan, in the Puck Building at Lafayette and Houston. This show kicks ass -- the vanguard of modern comics will be there, and so should you. For a measly five bucks you get exposure to just about every comics artist worth checking out, including Yours Truly, James Kochalka, Sara Varon, Evan Dorkin, Keith Knight (who I must absolutely meet), Stephen Notley, Bill Plympton, and a metric shitload of other folks. I hear Mr. Stevens may be showing up as well, at our very own table. Five bucks, dude. Can you afford not to miss it?
  2. If you're looking to get a Cold War Supervillain T-shirt, tomorrow is your last chance. We're not selling them after tomorrow on the site, so if you want one, order it now -- there will be no extras. None will be sold aside from what is pre-ordered (despite what we said earlier). We have a bunch of conventions coming up in the next few months, so we're conserving cash and limiting our order. We also only have a couple of Overclocked Lemon shirts left, and those will be coming down off the site by Saturday morning as well. The main jist is if you want one of these shirts, act quickly.
  3. What's up with the forgetful fish in that Disney flick? If you know a good lawyer, let us know. We were there first.

Damn impulse buying.

I couldn't help but have a go at the OCL t-shirt. I did have a bit of a say in the design, and also said I would buy it come release time, but never had the dosh.

Now you say it's my last chance ever? what can a person do when faced with a dire situation such as this.

Spend AU$40 on a t-shirt, that's what.

heh I just bought the super villain... unfortunately I couldn't decide which one was best, so I got both... fortunately the aussie dollar has been doing well so they do only cost us about $40 each instead of the usual 5 million...

Soon I will only have goats oriented clothing... well as soon as they let me come to work without pants.

I thought you could get Toothgnip boxers.

Surely they'd let you wear boxers to work.

Speaking of which, isn't "Ride the wave of pork" a touch close to Futurama's "ride the walrus"?

Oh, the woes of being destitute. I have women demanding I buy them the Staropramen shirt, and I must decline.

Of course, one of these woman is not currently in a relationship with me, so her words hold little sway. But the fact remains that I have women begging me for this shirt.

I thank Jon for this testosterone-boost-by-proxy.

Just buy another t-shirt, and wear it upside-down on your butt. If you're feeling really modest, you can even staple shut the neck-hole. (BEFORE putting it on... remember, BEFOOOOOOORE.)

um hi jon, or phillip whoever reads this, i have been a reader for about a year but am new to the message boards and have not an angry clown's idea of a hottenanny where to post this. I guess my excuse is i do own several items of goats merchandise. as one of the younger readers who lives in this glorious dirty mess we call new york city i just want to know if thre is a place you could recommend (i.e.) that you like where i can go to have a good time without also getting drunk as a horse as i am mostly law abiding. sounds like a dumb question but i thought maybe you'd know and i also thought i'd just give you kudo's on your wonderful strip.

Yes, but Fishy Joe won't be born for another 800 years or so, so I think Jon's safe.
