San Diego 2009

Monday, July 20, 2009 - 08:58 AM

Hey everyone! Once again, I'll be exhibiting at San Diego Comic-Con this year, Wednesday night through Sunday. I'll be with all the usual Dumbrella suspects at Booth 1335/1337 in the same place we are every year, nestled deep in the heart of the Webcomics Ghetto.

I'm going to have books, a selection of t-shirts, Diablo action figures and approximately 25 1:1 scale handmade Doughboy vinyl figures. I have a very limited supply of Doughboys and there's been a lot of interest in them so please stop by as early as you can if you want one.

As usual, we'll be having a Dumbrella panel, here's the info:

Thursday 1:30-2:30 Dumbrella -- Artists from Dumbrella, one of the most popular online comic collectives, discuss webcomics, independent publishing and subverting popular culture. Feel free to quiz Andrew Bell (The Creatures in My Head), Sam Brown (explodingdog), Jon Rosenberg (Goats), and Richard Stevens III (Diesel Sweeties), along with Meredith Gran (Octopus Pie), and Chris Yates (Reprographics) about anything your Internet heart desires. Room 3

Hope to see you all there!

This thread is useless without pictures of Phillip wearing doughboys.

OMG, hand-made full-scale Dough Boys! Please tell me that at some future point we remote viewers will be able to (buy / bid on / engage in a web scavenger hunt or scorched earth marketing campaign to win) a limited quantity of these lovelies.

Hell, let's face it, we're not responsible for anything; including the things we say, do, or think. And if you sue us because you think we are? Well, we're not responsible for that either.
