Unshelved Book Club: Now In 257 Colors

Sunday, July 05, 2009 - 10:40 PM

Bill Barnes is one of the most evil men in webcomics. This pirate somehow roped me into doing a twelve-panel adaptation of a book by my fourth-choice author on a holiday weekend inbetween my book launch and SDCC prep.

You can see it here, using slightly fewer colors than intended, because Bill's site doesn't support file formats developed after 1994. Or you can wait an hour and a half and see it here on the site in a slightly more robust presentation as Monday's offering. Regular comics will resume on Wednesday after I have iced down my drawing finger.

In the meantime, please go visit Bill's comic strip, he has said that he doesn't think any of you will be smart enough to get it but I spoke well of you guys on your behalf and now he is keen to give you a chance.

In a stunning and unrelated coincidence, I am announcing my retirement from guest stripping. This will be my last one, barring government intervention.

Bill seems to be an asp.net doofus. Who volunteers to go hack his site?

Don't be like that, man. That's not cool. Be nice to Bill, he's had a rough couple of days.

Hell, let's face it, we're not responsible for anything; including the things we say, do, or think. And if you sue us because you think we are? Well, we're not responsible for that either.
