Love: Exciting and NEWW

Holy crap. NEWW was incredible. All the usual suspects were there and I got to meet some amazing creators in person for the first time, like Joel Watson, Rene Engström, Zach Weiner, Jorge Cham, and KC Green to name a few.

You can check out all the cartoonists in attendance here and here if you don't have anything to do for the next few years. There were a few dozen other people I wanted to meet but several of my social anxiety disorders ganged up on me and turned me into an awkward mess for most of the time I was there. Hopefully there will be a lot more of these to come and I'll get some socialization practice.

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make such an amazing event happen, especially Meredith, who just threw the best party I ever been to, motherfucker. Even without the BSG finale.

It was good to get up there, even if I did only sneak a few hours on Sunday. Too many talented people in one place, was overwhelming, but very, very cool. I'll definitely be back next year.

And I wouldn't consider 'not liking inappropriate touching' a disorder.

Also, sorry about the touching.
