I-CON This Weekend

Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 06:12 PM

Just a reminder that we'll be at will be there, despite the fact that they've completely failed to post any schedule info on their site or even post our names in the comics section. Gah.">I-Con this weekend, shamelessly promoting our doodads and thingies. We'll be hanging out at the Goats table for most of the gig, but we'll also be at the following panels:
  • Getting Your Comics Online
    Sat 5-6pm
    Sac 305

  • Web Comics: Your Input
    Sat 7-8pm
    Sac 305

  • Web Comics: Are They The Future?
    Sun 2-3pm
    Sac 303
Again, the Con is going to be in the Stonybrook, Long Island area, so if you're in the vicinity, please stop by. And bring your wallets.

UPDATE: We're finally posted to the site.

Any of you inter-nerds coming to this thing? Or am I just going to be sitting around trying not to touch myself as I gaze longingly at Robin Curtis [iconsf.org] yet again?

Okay, here's a poll: Who's the better Saavik -- Kirstie Alley or Robin Curtis?

Also, it seems that while they've corrected the spelling of my name on the site [iconsf.org], Phillip's is still spelled wrong, in two separate places. I think that level of error takes intentional effort.

In Response to jon (#4763):

Sorry Jon. Not only don't I have a ride, but Long Island is what I call 'The Evil'.

And it's much too big to fit in a toaster oven.

...

Oh, and Kirstie Alley. Hands down.

Sorry, way to far for me, well, within driving distance, but still to far.

And Kirstie Alley by far.

Kirstie Alley rubs me the wrong way. I'll say Robin Curtis. Even though ST2 was a far superior movie.

And Long Island is about 900 miles out of the way for me. Maybe if they had the show in the upper-middle-midwest some time I'd go. As if people aren't itching to get out of New York anyway, now that we've got a war on that will only...well, I'm sure we can draw our own conclusions.
