Strip Delays

Tuesday, August 12, 2008 - 09:33 AM

Just wanted to apologize for what looks like it may be an erratic schedule over the next few weeks. I have a deadline for delivery of the files for the first Goats book on September 1 and there's a lot of work to do for it. I just spent about 4 days working on the cover illustration (which came out super-nice I think) and I'm running about a half a day behind schedule on the strip (not to mention I haven't had a chance to put up 3 or 4 new items in the store).

Anyhow, I'm going to keep plugging away and try to work as quickly as I can, but it looks like (for at least this week) the strip may be posting a bit late on the day its supposed to appear. Thanks for your patience, understanding and lack of violent tendencies.

This from an artist who has no set schedule of updating? Yes you do many a week but there's no real schedule.

Jon, work on the money makers!

Andy is the hardest working man in creaturedom, his example and stabbings are always inspiring.

With the exception of maybe 5-6 days in the last year (this past weekend included) my schedule has been "every other day", that is a pretty set schedule if you ask me!

And Jon totally needs a good stabbing for motivation, I know him. He won't get things done unless he is bleeding out all over his nicely refinished floors.

Andrew,

I was trying at some ill worded humor. I know you update often an alert the readers if you have an exhibition or convention which will cause a lack of creature production.

I humbly apologize.
