Get Yer Squid Prints Here

Monday, September 17, 2007 - 01:15 AM

If you liked the recently released Squid vs. Wienermobile t-shirt, you're going to love this new print! I couldn't stay away from this one, my fevered brain obsessed with bringing the beast to life, to feel the terror of the hot dog driver, to bring the joy of owning this image to those whose oppressive religions forbid them from wearing t-shirts.

Anyhow, I'm making 50 of these, signed and numbered and printed by Y.T. on archival paper using archival inks, in the size of 13" tall by 19" wide (that's paper size; there's a 1" border on the image itself for ease of handlin' in case you'd like to frame it or mount it or something creepy like that.

This is what it looks like, with two exceptions:

One, I am still tweaking the lighting, it will look pretty much like this but I am determined to get that luminescent quality the ocean has just right. The final version will be at least this awesome and probably even more so.

Two, it will be much larger and higher resolution that this graphic. You can get a larger preview by clicking here, but even that doesn't do justice to this piece when printed out at actual size at 600dpi in full-on kick-you-in-the-ass color.

Now stop gawkin' and go get one before they're all gone. I've already sold six and I haven't even posted this yet.

UPDATE: Squid prints are all sold out. I'll try to have them all printed up and in the mail within two weeks. Thanks to everyone who bought one!

Jon, I had no idea that TVLand addiction was so severe. Isn't that the old Fred Sanford/Redd Foxx line?

Officer "Hoppy" Hopkins: Mr. Sanford, can you
describe the thief?

Fred Sanford: No, but his initials were "Y. T." - Whitey!

Squids seem to be breaking out everywhere. Even in pie [skippyslist.com].

Hell, let's face it, we're not responsible for anything; including the things we say, do, or think. And if you sue us because you think we are? Well, we're not responsible for that either.
