I made it down to the Pub the last time I was in New York. Nice place, I didn't see you but there was a republicans for Voldemort sticker. The place was fun before nightfall but after sunset frat boys filled the place like vampires ready to feast on the blood of the eclectic. I can't make it this time perhaps in another 10 years.

I have that same problem. There's this continent in between California and New York... We tried to move them closer together, but all that happened was that Colorado got a crinkly.

Despite the strong desire to claim such an occasion as an emergency, we have inventory at work and attendance is expected. Being a grown-up sucks.

Perhaps... I'm off the weekend before for travel so I may not want to drive from VA to NY.

10 years? Holy crap. I don't know about anyone else, but that's definitely at the top of my "consecutive strips read (active)" list.

Not that I found the site on Day 1. In fact, I can't really remember when (or, more accurately, how) I stumbled upon it. I just recall that I was still working on taking data for my thesis, and I finished that up in May, 1998.

As incredibly, ridiculously awesome as that is, it's nowhere near possible for me. I live several states away (boo, Arkansas! You suck!), am temporarily without transportation and a couple years underage.
