New Shirt: I Am Considered EXTREMELY MACHO By Broccoli Standards

Tuesday, January 23, 2007 - 01:41 PM

I've been getting a large number of requests for a Brock-themed shirt, so here it is. This is a super-wide 12" print on a Kelly green tee, four colors and all the testosterone you've come to expect from a vegetable like broccoli. It's also available on American Apparel shirts and in youth sizes on Gildan.

Because this is such a manly shirt (and because Is uspect the demand would be low) I'm not offering it on babydoll tees, but if enough folks email me demanding it I might reconsider. If you'd prefer a Brock-centric version without the words I could probably offer that as well if there is enough interest.

Anyway, I'll be gathering pre-orders until the end of the week and then I'll send the numbers off to the printer. Since we don't have them in stock yet keep in mind that it will be an extra couple of weeks over the normal 2-4 week ship time, so be patient, please! Also, please check your mailing address for accuracy when you check out, we've had a ton of orders come in with the incorrect address lately (I'm looking at you Australia).

I love this design! I'm definitely buying this shirt, but what would also be awesome would be a wallpaper version... does that sort of thing go down around here?

I think that can be arranged. I have some other stuff I need to do today that takes priority but I can probably whip up a few differently-sized wallpaper files later on.

My girlfriend would love this shirt, but she's not that interested in being macho... mostly cute and vegetarian. Maybe a "I am considered very sexy by broccoli standards" version for the ladies?

Okay, I want one of these. What's the difference between the Hanes and American Apparel shirts? Are both offered for those who prefer one company's practices, or do they fit differently, or something else? While I'vce been reading Goats for a while now, I've never bought a shirt for myself (did buy one as a gift once).

I'm looking at you, Australia.

Get fucked, Topatoco managed to get my order to me in a few business days, and my address is horrible for postal employees (111 Woorarra. Not only does half our mail end up at number 11 but most people can't pronounce our street name.) Obviously you are not trying hard enough to deliver to correct street addresses! Just because we have weird place and street names that are probably poorly Anglicised mangled Aboriginal words.

Just for that I will not be buying this shirt. (Just kidding. I wasn't going to buy it anyway.)

Jeff told me himself that he had about 10 percent of his recent orders to Australia go missing, so your one data point does not represent the actuality of what is happening. We put the exact address on the package that we are supplied with, it's all computerized.

Something weird is going on when I am losing tons of money on reprints and extra shipping trying to get dozens of people their packages twice.

Hey, Jon and crew. Sorry to post this here, but I tried writing about it through the website, and it seems like it didn't get to you.

I want to buy a broccoli shirt, but I don't have a credit card I can use. How can I pay by check?

Thanks. We now return you to the regularly scheduled silliness.
