Last Chance For Reserved Hardcover Pre-Orders

As Phillip and I ready ourselves for Comic-Con, running about like small, obsessive elves, we find the days have slipped away like so many well-oiled lizards. If all goes as planned, we're going to have the hardcover limited edition of Book III with us. As such, we need to know which numbers we can bring with us.

So, if you were waiting to claim the same number book as you ordered for Book IV, wait no longer. After Friday, we can no longer guarantee that you will get the same number as the one you ordered previously. We will maliciously and wantonly sell your book to someone else, provided they pay us money for it. This is your Last Chance, folks.

Still not convinced? Anyone who pre-orders before Friday will receive (in addition to the hardcover book and the official Certificate of Limited Edition-Ness, suitable for framing or burning) Two (2) Full-Color Goats Monotreme Vinyl Stickers and Five (5) Diablo Temporary Tattoos with their hardcover book. Oh yes.

In related news, I received the first bound samples of the paperback, and they're quite juicy. We will have them at the Con, and we'll have them for you here on the site shortly after we get back as well. Stay tuned for more info.

UPDATE: Today is the LAST DAY you can claim your reserved Limited Edition Hardcover Volume III! If you don't order by midnight tonight, your precious book will be sold to someone else; someone who doesn't love it the way you do. Be sure to rescue your book before it's too late.

Hey, are you doing the shipping yourself? Or is the printing company doing the shipping? Because I pre-ordered my book (on the off chance I'd get some dialbo lovin' in the bargain) and it would be cool to be able to pick it up at the Con so there might chance of getting you to sign it. If it gets shipped to me here, what are the odds of it getting here before the con so that I can bring it with me?

We're shipping the hardcovers ourselves, but that's not the answer to your question.

The answer to your question is that all of the hardcovers are pre-signed and numbered, so it'll already be signed.

For those folks who are going to pre-order your book now, let us know what Book IV number you have, and we'll bring that one with us to Comic-Con if you like; you can come pick it up at the Goats table. Please be sure to let us know when you order that you want us to bring it to Comic-Con, or we'll forget. We're very good at forgetting.

The hardcovers will not be shipped until after we return from Comic-Con, likely in mid-August. Scrubbo, if you want us to bring your copy to the Con, just let us know.

By the by, we'll also be selling the stickers, tattoos and a series of 1 1/4" buttons at the Con as well. They're going to be etremely reasonably priced.

Yah, bring it to the Con! The earlier I get my hot little hands on it, the better. I may even pick up an extra. As a gift. To my dumbass friend who broke his shoulderblade and collarbone in a motorcycle accident.

I KNOW it hurts to laugh right now. So I'll give him Goats so he remembers to be more careful in the future. Goats as aversion therapy for when it hurts to laugh. Hoooboy.

We're including 2 of them with every hardcover book. That's one way.

We're also working on an alternate way but it may be a couple of months before that's in place. So for the near future, you'll want to order a Book III Hardcover.
