The green dude in this week's comics is a Self-Transforming Machine Elf! Jeff taught me everything I need to know about machine elves. He is a pretty good guy to know!

All of a sudden in the last two strips Alfred's face looks somewhat familiar but I can't place him. I'm sure this was discussed before, anyway, is he drawn based on anybody?

Machine elves - I want one. Can they dance homeworks into grading themselves?

Yes and no. I've been to San Diego but not to that hotel. Maybe the next time I'll be there I'll stop and look for him.
