Closing went great, I now have a Northern Westchester base of operations. It's a bit scary to own property, but it also a great feeling to cook hamburgers on land that you (and the bank) actually own.
Between Comic-con and my impending move at the end of July, I am feeling like I may not have enough time to do all the comics I need to do, so I am asking you good people for some assistance. Between now and July 14th, I will be accepting Guest Comic submissions from all comers, be you a professional webcomicker or an amateur webcomic reader.
I will pick the best entries and run them while I am in San Diego (and longer if I get enough good ones). All of the submissions will eventually be displayed on the site on a special page, so even if you're not picked you'll still get to be famous.
The very best entry will receive a personalized Diablo Action Figure (complete with glowing skull -- only 94 93 left as of this writing and going fast). The other entries will receive my heartfelt thanks and the adulation of thousands.
Here's the rules:
- All entries must be in GIF or JPEG format, 750px wide. The height is up to you.
- All entries must be received by July 15th. No entries will be considered after that date.
- Entries will be judged on creativity, writing, lookin' good, and feelin' good.
- Entries must be submitted by email to jon (at) goats dot com, with a subject of Goats Open Mic.
