Sandy Eggo, Here We Come

Did I mention that Phillip and I are going to be at this year's Comic-Con? In San Diego? From August 1 through August 4?

Well, I did now. We're going to be tucked away in the small press area, fighting John, Jeff, rstevens and (probably) Sam for every last square centimeter of space on our shared table. I don't know if this level of cartoonist density has ever been achieved without the inevitable formation of some sort of very funny quantum singularity, but we're going to find out. You should come visit and find out too.

In an ideal universe, we're going to have the new book with us to sell, likely in paperback, possibly in hardcover. It's in production now, so we're cutting it close, but I think we'll have it with us. A world premiere, if you will. We'll have copies of the old book as well, and if I get a few free moments between now and then, we're going to try to put together some other goodies for you as well.

On a related note, once we get back from the Con, we'll be sending out the pre-ordered hardcovers for Evil Chickens Don't Kiss. If you're interested in obtaining the same numbered edition as your hardcover copy of Behold The Power Of Ignorance, I recommend you order soon, as we will be unable to reserve your number once the books begin shipping (likely at the beginning of August).

If you don't have a hardcover copy of BTPOI, and you'd like to own one, we still have a few copies left.

I really like the phrase "Sandy Eggo." It's funny and cute. Did you guys come up with it, or have you heard it somewhere else?

Sandy Eggo sounds very cool, but I have no idea of what it is.

An egg-thing that has been dipped in sand?

Or a new Eggo flavor?

Jon I have to say that I'm extremely happy that you and Phillip are going to be at ComicCon. I was getting nervous when you hadn't said anything about yet. Oh, btw, what name is your collective table listed under so I can try and find it easier? Can't wait to meet you guys!
