Operation Freedom Showers

At last, it can be told.

Last week, Jeff, Rich and I took a cargo van from Northampton, Massachusetts to an undisclosed location in Connecticut, where Goats had previously subcontracted its merchandise distribution to a man who will remain nameless. This individual, from what I can tell, has decided to live full-time on the internet as a lady named after a science fiction film. I could be wrong in my assessment, but it is the only explanation available to me, as he had stopped answering all email and phone calls. He also stopped shipping out our items, and that resulted in a number of bewildered emails from you folks, our customers.

I did some things last week that I am not proud of. Drastic times called for drastic measures. But at the end of three days of hauling books and t-shirts, we had managed to move the whole of our inventory into the Dumbrella studio in Northampton, where it will now be administered to by Rich's new shipping operation. Knowing that our customers will be well-served by one of the most efficient and ruthless business machines known to the webcomics industry has done a lot to help me put the horror of Operation Freedom Showers behind me. Let us never speak of it again.

Many of you were put out during the transition; orders have been delayed by many weeks in some instances. But Rich tells me that most of the outstanding orders have now shipped at this point, so if you're still waiting on something, hang in there just a bit longer. If you still haven't received your order within two weeks from now, get in touch with us and we'll remedy the problem. Our long-term goal is to be able to get our ship time down from the current 2-4 weeks to 1-2 weeks (and much faster in most instances).
