October Sunday Strip + SPEY Package

Wednesday, November 02, 2005 - 11:19 AM

The October Sunday Strip is up and waiting for you to be reading it. In this episode, our heroes make it back to the network node, but something is already there ahead of them...

This is the time of year where I traditionally work 14 hour days to get everything ready for our Super-Premium End-of-year Package, affectionately known around these parts as the SPEY Package. It is a hard, grueling time but ultimately worth it to see the dimples and smiles on the faces of billions of children around the world. You've only got until November 15th to get in on this year's SPEY action, so git movin'.

This year's package is HUGE:
  • Limited Edition Mystery T-Shirt
  • Limited Edition Full-color Archival Print
  • Original Full-Color Goats Mini-Comic
  • Goats Buttons
    (set of 4)
  • Goats Stickers
(2 sets of 6 vinyl beauties)
  • Certificate of Member-ness
Two changes from last year: firstly, the Gocco print is now and archival print. I'd like to see what we can do with more than two colors for a change; I think it will be a nice change of pace. Also, we've finally run out of Diablo tattoos, so no more of those.

Anyway, back to work for me, I will chime in soon with additional wondrous and amazing news for you!

Can any of you remind me what stickers we've sent out in previous years? I want to limit duplication as much as possible.

Maybe you should remember to take a photo of the *first* SPEY package you do this year, to have a record for next year.

I know I didn't post a photo of mine from last year, but I did post a photo in the secret place for at least the year before.

I'll definately try and put a photo up this year too.

Dear christ in heaven. Will this year's T-shirt be able to top last year's?

It's not the shirt that's the cause of the fit; it's the body underneath.

Yes, because "tight fitting" depends entirely on the actual size of the body, and not on the ratio of the size of the shirt to the size of the body.

And material shrinkage is not a factor either, especially for such a stable material as cotton.

If I were to upgrade to super premium, would I lose out on the money from the second half of the year of my current premium subscription? This could be the deciding factor on whether or not my wife lets me upgrade.
