When the strip count surpasses Rainbow Brite's post count, there will be international celebration.

As for 1700, he passed that over a year ago.

Huzzah to you Jon! How come the strip entering count is in the 1800's? I know you had guest weeks but I don't think it was that many.

Those are arbitrary database numbers, there are many reasons why they are off from actual numbers though. Phillip can explain why that happens better than I can.

Actually I think 1700 includes guest strips, so I should not take credit for every one of those.

I hope when your strip count equals the year you do not start doing only one strip a year to make sure the strip count always matches the year, because that would suck.

I also hope you refer to the year as "AD" instead of "CE," because that "CE" think is kind of wussy.

Congratulations, jon. It's an amazing (and growing) body of work. not many people are willing to make the sacrifices and put in the effort and try to follow their dreams like you have.
