MoCCA and Beyond

Wednesday, June 01, 2005 - 08:04 AM

Here's a handly list of our public appearances for the next few months. Print it out and keep it in your pocket!
  • MoCCA Art Festival :: June 11-12, NYC
    Always a kickass time, MoCCA brings comics to the tragically hip here in Manhattan. We like this one so much we're skipping our 10-year college reunion for it. So should you. We'll be there with Andy and Rich.
  • Comic-Con :: July 13-17, San Diego
    The big one, with over ten million people in attendance. We sold out of all sorts of stuff almost immediately last year, so be sure to get there early. We'll be there with Andy, Rich, Jeff and Sam.
  • SPX :: September 23-24, Bethesda MD
    The best little comics convention that takes place in a Holiday Inn, you'll find no superheroes in attendance here. You will find the entirety of Dumbrella, though, with every single one of us in the same place for the first time since the Beatles broke up. We'll be there with Andy, Rich, Jeff, Sam, and John (who will be flying over from across the sea on a special flying bicycle of his own construction, made from used refridgerators and coffee grounds).

Also, SPX lets you have booze on the show floor.

Well, we were going to go to the bars near our ten-year reunion.

For those interested, a floor map of the MoCCA Art Festival may be found here [moccany.org].

Looks like the Dumbrellists will be at tables C29-31; I'll be working the CBLDF [goats.com] tables around the corner at B10-11.

So as long as I'm posting old MoCCA info, here's this [moccany.org] piece of historical detritus from two years back.

I've always been partial to this one [tinyurl.com]. It's obviously not as good a shot of Phillip, but I have such love for that goddamned platypus.

And also, if you click on 'back' you can see that Jon's picture is directly above Jules Feiffer's picture. And that's just too cool.

Hell, let's face it, we're not responsible for anything; including the things we say, do, or think. And if you sue us because you think we are? Well, we're not responsible for that either.
