I-CON't Believe It's That Time Of Year Again

Thursday, March 24, 2005 - 08:06 AM

Rich and I will be at I-CON in beautiful Stony Brook, Long Island from April 8-10th. This will be my fourth or fifth time at this lovely convention (I lose track) and I'm looking forward to seeing all the elves and tiger-ladies once again.

For reasons which will become clear shortly, Phillip will probably be unable to attend this one (which is a shame, because this is one convention where a nose-bat juggler comes in handy), so I'm going to be bringing a reduced selection of merchandise for simplicity's sake. Leave a comment below if there's something specific you'd like to purchase while attending and I'll do my best to make sure it's there.

Phillip's pregnant and about to give birth?

Excellent. Just what the world needs...more Phillips...

Well, since I will (hopefully, it's almost completely worked out) be attending this one, I need a small baby-doll shirt. Which design... well, which do you want me to wear while I'm all marked up?

I also recommend that you bring a black sharpie, although I'll probably get my own, just in case.

After all, Goats deserves its very own Squealing Fangirl, doesn't it? And I have to step up and be that girl. It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it.

Revision: I will definitely be attending. I am deeply upset that I can't go out bar-hopping with you, though. Damn drinking laws.

Incidentally, are any of the rest of you coming? You can observe me in my natural habitat; it'll probably be a learning experience, or something.

Which is a darn shame, because I was really looking forward to a good cuban.

One of these days I'll make it to a Con; with or without a cigar.

I didn't know about it. Unlike Zamphir, I have not made personal contact with Jon and Phillip (other than these forums and a few scattered emails). In fact, the only person I have met who has made an appearance on Goats is Zamphir (unless I'm in there and don't know about it).

It wasn't a secret per se. I had mentioned it to various people at conventions and what not, but we decided we wanted to wait until we were done before announcing it here.

Because we have standards around here dammit! we will not accept sub par offspring (such as their last few albums).

After checking it was acceptable the announcement was made, hurrah! The king is drunk, love live the king!
