Guest Week(s) 3: Fight for Freedom

Sunday, November 21, 2004 - 06:41 PM

We're wrapping things up for Guest Week with a handful of dazzlers and a couple of "mystery slots". Go ahead -- put your hand in!

This is as good a time as any to point you to Jeff's new comic strip offering, Overcompensating. It's just about the best journal-style comic there is, and all the better for being mostly fabricated.

Oh, and my birthday is on Saturday, in case you were wondering. I knew you were.

Here's the schedule for Week 3:

UPDATE: Mystery Guest Comics will be provided by Diablo. Enjoy!

Wow, I not only have the opportunity to wish Happy Birthday to one of my favorite comic artists, but to reply in a thread to another of them. If only I had talent instead of fawning obsequiously over that possessed by others.

Happy birthday Jon! Do not feel old!

(Okay, so normally I'm celebrating birthdays with either a: people who are finally old enough to drink, or b: my parents. And I know you're over 21. But, uh... have some alcohol to celebrate anyhow. I know I would.)

While I find our conversation fascinating, I also find you terrifying, unpredictable, and armed.

Happy Birthday to Jon. Also to me, Jaleel "Urkel" White, Andy "Brak" Merrill, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Curtis "Booger" Armstrong, and the late Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Lee, and L. Sprauge de Camp.

And some woman named "Shy Love", star of (so far) 58 pieces of completely legitimate independent entertainments of an adult nature.

Truly, a siblinghood of greatness.
