Zombie Halloween

Sunday, October 31, 2004 - 02:35 PM

31 oct 2004 This month's Sunday Strip is an intermission from our ongoing Worlds of Peril storyline. Phillip stretches his artistic muscles and brings us a beautiful tale of two zombies and their quest for a higher truth. Stay tuned for more Phillip post-it action all this week on Goats.

For those of you who are Super-Premium members, your SPEY packages are only a couple of months away now. We'll be finalizing the contents in the next few days (almost identical to last year's, most likely) and November 15th will be the deadline for signing up for this year's package. More details soon.

Is there a deadline for when you are considered SP for this year's SPEY? I've been juggling bills around so I just want to have an idea when I need to get myself back in there.

Yes. Check the next to last sentence in the news above for that information.

If we're thinking about upgrading to Super-Premmie, what's the easiest way to do so? The subscription page only talks about getting the 2002 package, unless I'm missing something.

I thought we had kept that area current, although we're supremely bad at keeping up with text changes (as all of you who actually get the strip emailed to you should know) we'll take a look at that area ...sometime... and make sure that all the various text bits for people of various subscription levels look at.

However, to answer your question.

There's two ways to upgrade. What's easiest for us is to just let your current subscription expire, and then re-subscribe at the new level. That way it will, in the future, auto-renew at the super premium level, which makes us happy. The more irritating, but still doable, way is to contact [goats.com] us and let us know that you want to upgrade, and we have a manual one-time type thing to make this year's sub a super-premium instead. We don't have this automated from your end, so we need to go into the admin areas to do it, and it will renew at the regular premium rate instead of the super-premium, so we would need to do this every year. The total cost (Premium + Upgrade) is also a little more than just a regular Super Premium subscription.
