Comic-Con and T-Shirt Shipping

Monday, July 19, 2004 - 07:36 AM

So we're off to our third San Diego Comic-Con this week (July 22-25); once again, we're sharing a booth with our Dumbrella comrades. You can find us at booth #1129. It's centrally located along the main aisle, next to Image Comics (where Scott will be) and the other Scott. I lost a bet to Scott McCloud that we made at last year's convention, and I'm going to have to pay up soon, so more about that in the next month or two. Point is, please come to the convention and say hello. We'll have lots of good things for you to buy and we're fairly friendly folks.

Anyway, in preparation for all this convention nonsense, we've been printing extra shirts and stickers and such, but it hasn't been enough to fulfill your insatiable demand. We simply haven't been able to keep up. So there are quite a few of you wondering where your shirts are, and I apologize for our slackitude. But there is some good news.

Our shirt distributor has just shipped an enormous amount of shirts this week, which gets us back on schedule. Our printer will be restocking our shirt supply while we are at the San Diego Comicon, and shirts will resume shipping when we get back, around July 27th. If you have not yet heard from our distributor, Domination T-Shirts, you should hear from Neil g when we all get back from San Diego.

I've been working like a dog to make sure that comics will continue uninterrupted through the end of the month while I'm away; this storyline is a bit of a change in pace, and I hope you enjoy it. I know I'm enjoying drawing it. Trees are fun!

Whatever happened to Toothgnip? Doesn't he get to go camping?

I miss that goat.

DON'T ASK about Toothgnip!

Every time someone asks about Toothgnip, Jon puts off writing him in for another six months.

gah.

I think we should form a goats: task force and start hunting down these people who keep asking about the characters. It's up to six months now?

But do you ever see a person leave a cathedral toting a to-go box?

I reckon the faq must be read at least a little, we seem to have a whole lot more *gasp* partially intelligent newbies.

Who here has done any munching recently? If anyone's got a link or two, I'd find it most entertaining to read.

Does anybody know if this is a bitpass related [goats.com] bet, or is it something completely different?
