The Oliver T-Shirt

Sunday, April 18, 2004 - 03:39 PM

Oliver, the new tiny chicken sensation, is now the star of his very own t-shirt. Little Oliver is also available on babydoll tees as well. These shirts are now available for pre-order; we'll start shipping them in a couple of weeks once we have a better idea as to how many to order. Personally, this is my favorite shirt yet. I hope you like it as well.

Please note that the green color is probably pretty close to what it will look like on the shirt, but I'm still finding out from our printer exactly what the color is (and what the babydoll color options are as well). Hopefully I'll know more in a day or so.

UPDATE: After speaking with my printer, the green is a pine green, pretty much what you see here. The babydolls are a slightly darker army green color.

UPDATE TWO: Due to you asking us to do it, we've bundled the Oliver shirt with our Killer Robot shirt at a discount. I present to you the Obscenity Pack.

It looks like an obscenity, but Oliver sure ain't no monotreme. Unless I missed the memo about chickens becoming mammels. I could have, since it's finals week at Pitt.

BTW, I think I might end up buying the shirt... I don't know, half of my shirts are from Goats anyway. Friends are beginning to wonder about my sanity.

Wow... what a great idea [goats.com] for a shirt!

I guess I really have to buy this one.

Is there any chance of getting an obscenity pack? say having a monotreme, an oliver, and some random other character doing the finger? say eggplant or something?

This would be so many levels of cool.

Good luck on your finals.

Sorry, no way to do an obscenity pack with the monotreme -- that's a CafePress item.

We could do one with the killer robot shirt, I suppose, if people were interested.

Horrible fiend. Just two nights ago I was lamenting the fact that I was two days late to get the angry thingaling pack, and drunkenly cheated on Goats merchandise with Achewood merchandise.

But I must have the two-pack.

Thus drippeth this post with irony.

In the end, despite my deep love for monotremes with an affinity for flipping people off, I think that having the Oliver shirt bundled with Killer Robot makes more sense, for if it weren't for Oliver, Jon wouldn't have had a door on which to post a bumpersticker stating one of my new favorite sayings

Of course, for making sense, I expect to be promptly flamed.

So you're not planning on putting out an update of the monotreme shirt? I specifically bought monotoreme items to prove they sold better (admittedly this was over a year ago), so if you ever finished with cafepress and got good qual tshirts, that you'd re-issue them in hi-res mode.

Or, maybe I just liked the idea of a slouchhat with a print of a platypus saying fuck you and doing the finger.
