Our friend Beeeej's law school, Cardozo, is having an auction on
Wednesday, March 24 to benefit its Public Interest Stipend Program
for students who take unpaid summer jobs working for the greater good
instead of shilling for soulless corporate suits. I like the idea of unpaid lawyers, so I donated a couple of Goats-related items to be auctioned off.
First is a full set of the three Goats books - the casebound,
numbered, limited-edition type - signed by yours truly.
You can also bid on the right to have me draw you into a "Goats" strip. Well, a character based on you, anyway - and take note, I can't promise not to use some creative license. Beeeej himself found that out last Friday. But you can join him in immortality!
The cool part for those of you who can't make it to our fair city is that you don't have to be at the Auction to bid. If you have a pretty good idea of how much you'd be willing to pay for these things, you can sign up for proxy bidding.
But if you can make it to the Auction, there's a ton of other cool
things they're auctioning off, too, and it's all for a good cause.
