Sunday Strip Improv, Part II
posted Monday, February 17, 2003 - 12:38 PM (#3982)
For March's Sunday strip, we're going to need your help. Please post a single word here in this discussion. I will try and incorporate as many of your words in the dialogue and attempt to maintain some semblance of coherency at the same time.
  • Feel free to use verbs, adjectives, nouns, conjuntions, what have you -- all parts of speech are appreciated.
  • One word per person -- additional words will be ignored.
  • Words over 15 characters will also be ignored (unless they're really good).
  • All words should be submitted by Friday, February 21st for inclusion.

There's a new rule -- no proper names. I can't link to the definition of this from the strip, and it would probably be difficult for people to understand what it is without explanatory text.

a) Does that mean Oed gets to try again?
b) Zebu, at least, you could define by showing. Hopefully, this would not apply to epididymis.

I hope these words aren't for the First Annual Goats Spelling Bee.
Here's mine: pomegranate (a thick-skinned several-celled reddish berry that is about the size of an orange and has many seeds with pulpy crimson arils of tart flavor) One of W.C. Fields favorite words and something fun to say.

But if I get a second chance how about this:

My word: sphacelate

It means "to affect with gangrene" =)

I found it digging around for a super-long word for an extra credit spelling testin 4th grade. My teacher was very grossed-out. The wussy.
