T3: Rise of the Machines **Spoilers** (Score: 0)
posted Wednesday, July 02, 2003 - 11:08 PM (#7043)
Since the movie [terminator3.com] is now out, i was curious what everyone else thought about it. I thought it was pretty nice. However, there were a few flaws in the logic that bothered me.

  • Why didn't any machines notice a small 2-seater plane taking off from the area? I'd think that one of the battle planes would have shot a missile at it just to kill more humans. (i was disappointed when the T1's never said "Kill all humans")

  • Why weren't there any problems with the Terminator's energy supplies in the previous movies? I believe he was crushed once (found to be detrimental to the longetivity of hydrogen fuel cells) and then drowned/candy-coated with molten metal another time (also not good for the power supply). Shouldn't John have been blown up/covered with liquid-hot mag-ma - uhm, metal a couple of times already?

  • Finally, how long do you think it took them to end up having sex on the presidential speech podium? And, did the old video equipment still work? That'd be some crazy my-father-died-and-we're-stuck-in-a-fallout-shelte r-after-my-fiance-was-killed-by-a-robot-assassin sex don't you think? BooYAH!

Also, Billy Lucas was great. Look for him, he's a STAR!!!
