Scheduling Again?!

Anyone else out there been in college for far too long? I'm registering this week for next fall, which begins year 5 1/2. It's not year six, it's not year six, it's not year six....

For some relief from my long-long-term college career, I picked up a little John Cleese, courtesy of the Fawlty Towers series [amazon.com] on DVD. If you've got some cash to blow, go for it.

"So that's two eggs mayonnaise, a prawn Goebbels, a Herman Goering, and four Colditz Salads."

Six years? Bah.

Let's just say that while some people believe they can cram a decent undergraduate education into four years, I'm not one of them.

I'm just getting my BA after year seven and I'm already looking around for grad schools...what's he rush?

I feel that I'm in a sad minority of people that actually came to college to learn and not just to get some ultimately useless piece of paper.

I'm constantly astounded by the value our society puts on ultimately useless pieces of paper.

Architecture

In order to become a licensed architect you need an accredited degree. There are two different ways of doing this, getting a BS or BA in architecture (4 years) and then an accredited Masters (2 more years), or getting an accredited Bachelors of Architecture, which takes 5 years.

Yes, but majoring in archery would be so much more useful!

Why hasn't anyone tried Archer-sniper attacks? I think it would immensely effective for outdoor assassination attempts, and would have far more finesse than plain old assassinations. Of course, it would require a closer range, but I'm sure that could be arranged.

Besides, "thok" is a better noise than "blam" anyday.

I've been in school for four year and I still have a year and a half.

The thing is. I majoring in assasination techniques.

(Group leader) It's okay Yosh, just let it all out.

Ok, They said that my thesis on the ethical ramification of using chickens and sewing needles in warfare wasn't adequate.

Now I have to be a teacher (sobbing)

Pony tends to be easier to de-scale.

And Little Green Dinosaur is better suited to Thai food.

But other than that, yeah, they're acceptable substitues.

Then they kick you out, which is bad. I honestly wasn't planning to ever leave college, but now I've got a year to wait for grad school.

Yeah, and if you feed the dino correctly and have good timing with it's burping, you can get it to cook itself and then fall from a very high place to remove its own scales on impact. It's like selfpreparing pony. And all without having to make the children watch their pony die and get buchered for "character building."
