In Response to TheMooseKing (#5612):
I've heard that frogs can give you a good idea of how the environment is doing. If there are a lot of frogs, then it's doing good in that area. Fewer frogs means nature is getting a bit out of whack. Deformed frogs means that the environment is really polluted and bad.
Well, there was my serious answer. Now for the utter nonsense:
If you have a bat but don't have a baseball, a large frog will be a suitable replacement...once.
Frogs, if we're to believe The Muppet Show (and we are), are capable of running and appearing in complex theater and television programs on a weekly basis.
They're actually very good accountants, though they don't have the sense to get off a busy road on a rainy day.
Frogs write most of Hollywood's teen-oriented comedies. Oh, you said what are they GOOD for...
They make good doorstops, with the right amount of rubber cement.
