As someone who's had his share of run-ins [goats.com] with corporate America, I feel for the guys over at Penny Arcade [penny-arcade.com], who are having some difficulties with the Amercan Greetings Corporation [americangreetings.com] over a parody [penny-arcade.com] they did a week or two ago (you can see the original here [spymac.com]; be sure to click for the full-size version).

While this is different from our situation -- their parody is not actually of Strawberry Shortcake, just involving it, and their work isn't on merchandise -- this sort of thing still sucks.
