... a selection of prime quality, top cut photos from a recent excursion to the continent that birthed the late, great Philippe Noiret.

My only regret is not purchasing this exquisite glass bris. [flickr.com]

In Response to tynic (#38219):

There's bound to be a Zoo Smells punchline under that statue.

Byron The First does not look nearly evil enough to be a real pope, nor even La Papesse. He's going to have to build a couple of DeathStars first before i take him seriously.

Robotics must be a handsomely rewarded profession if you can go on jaunts around the world thusly. Please tell me you didn't already sell your soul to the armaments manufacturers?

And what an unusual way to find out that you're allergic to France. I remember getting a bunch of those pricks while visiting an allergy doctor (and his nurses), but they were all labeled 'pine' or 'mildew' or 'llama fur'; none of them said anything about 'Riviera'.

Hell, let's face it, we're not responsible for anything; including the things we say, do, or think. And if you sue us because you think we are? Well, we're not responsible for that either.
