Wait...isn't one of the requirments of having a sexual preference is that you actually have to have sexual apparati? And I don't remember EVER seeing the "Make KITT Erect" button on any episode of KnightRider...except this weird fanfic I read once.

No way he was gay. He couldn't have kicked as much ass as he did otherwise. I just think he was vain and overly concerned with his appearance. Could a gay car have defeated Goliath or his own brother, K.A.R.R.? I think not. End of debate.

It's not necessary to physically perform a sex act to have a sexual orientation. Virgins have sexuality.

I've been talking about this with some friends this weekend, and they brought up some interesting points. One is that most people refer to cars and other vehicles generically as "she". Given that and the lack of recognizable primary and secondary sexual characteristics, who's to say that KITT is male at all?
