Backward Q & A
posted Thursday, July 11, 2002 - 02:14 PM (#411)
This is a fun game we play on another forum [chat.spl.at] that I visit all the time. Basically, the way it works is that an answer is given, and you have to come up with a question for the answer.

Example:

A. Your mom.

(next post) Q. Who makes the best cookies? :)

A. Yodeling

So that's how it works - it's quite fun! Okay, here's the first answer:

A. Many Shih Tzus

I think you're supposed to give the question for the previous answer, and then pose an answer of your own...hope that's correct, and with that in mind...

Q. What do you get when a pack of speeding Dacshund suddenly put on the brakes?

Apparently this was less clear (and therefore probably *much* less clever) than I thought it was.

I've been requested, in completely the wrong place (imho), to 'splain myself.

The question I was providing an answer for was "Pres. Bush's Intelligence (or lack there of)".

The answer I was giving was "3". As in, Shrub's Intelligence quota is measured at 3 on the scale.

Apparently I wandered over the fine line between 'obscure reference' and 'inchoherent'.

The answer I gave had as much to do with the question I posed as I understood the rules of this to specify - that is, none. Except for a tie-in to the Monty Python reference.

If no one likes the answer, I'll gladly replace it with "Frog with a Boner".

Genius reference!
Getting a bit off topic here, but I have to say it made me laugh out loud and wake my folks (it's almost three here in the morning).

I'd even mod it up, but although I have mod points (and not cos of my bad haircut) I can't seem to use them. In fact, I've fallen off my chair again... curse this monday night drinking I like to call doing my bit for the dolphins....
