Ale is a typically made using top fermenting yeast.
Lager using a bottom fermenting yeast.
Top fermenting yeasts prefer temperatures in the mild range (15 - 25 degrees celsius), bottom fermenting go for much cooler, down to 4 degrees centigrade.
Lagers are preferred drinking in hotter climes. Ales are more often consumed at around 10 - 15 degrees (i.e. more rewarding in a cold climate whilst nestled up in the corner of a warm pub).
This means warm countries make ales easier but prefer lagers and vice versa.
Hence God (not me, I am a lower case god) wants trade between countries.
Trade leads to increased awareness of other cultures which leads to increased sharing of knowledge which I (and remember I am a god which means I have the inside scoop on what is good and what is bad) figure is a good thing.
In aid of my drunken exposition of why God exists (as opposed to why god exists; I am right here, obviously I exist (your solipsism is no match for my mighty existentialist-fu)) can anyone think of other arguments for me to attempt to remember when I scare people by ranting away mercilessly at the pub.
Comparisons to the babel fish and it's use in proving God doesn't exist will be dealt with. Severely.
