my lappy is not working well with me. i have suse 10.0 running and i cannot for the life of me get it to acquire an IP address for me. I'm used to having dhclient and now i'm limited to dhcpcd and cannot get it to work. does anyone know how to help me out? i can see the wireless access points but just can't get my own IP address to set up the VPN for my school network.

working on 5 hours of sleep in the past few days has not been in my favor either...

however, i did find out that dhcpcd is working fine, i was given bad information by fellow classmates. the issue seems to be with my route table and i need to figure out how to fix that... damn linux.
