Will there be prizes? Not to suggest that the admiration of one's peers isn't reward enough.

Neil Gaiman certainly did write the story "Snow, Glass, Apples", a dark and gothic take on the tale of Snow White. It is featured in his short story collection "Smoke and Mirrors".

I was going to feed you another straight line

Sorry, I don't do cocaine. This is to be contrasted with the song "She's your Cocaine" by Tori Amos, ostensibly about a man driven to transvestism by his obsessive desire for a manipulative woman. This song is featured on her album "From the Choirgirl Hotel".

Tori Amos and Neil Gaiman, famously, are close friends and in fact often reference each other in their respective works. In fact, there is a reference to the story "Snow, Glass, Apples" in Tori Amos's song "Carbon" from her album "Scarlet's Walk". Tori Amos is part of the inspiration for some of the character of Delirium, one of the Endless in Neil Gaiman's Sandman series.

It's Monday. Avatar Halloween doesn't start until Wednesday.

Also, you appear to be using the same [goats.com] costume you used last time, with a different name.

Slacker.

I am too embarrassed to admit how long I spent on search engines looking for some other famous Neil (Young, Armstrong, etc.) with a connection to apples. I bow to your superior pop-culture/literary name-dropping skillz.

Sure. I'll levitate you and this box and those rocks and R2D2, while I stand on my head and bend this spoon.

But the Cat in the Hat has us both beat:

"I can hold up the cup
And the milk and the cake!
I can hold up these books!
And the fish on a rake!
I can hold the toy ship
And a little toy man!
And look! With my tail
I can hold a red fan!
I can fan with the fan
As I hop on the ball!
But that is not all.
Oh, no.
